🌍 STEAM Ambassadors Programme
Level 1 – Explorer
Curiosity begins here.
Level 1 of the STEAM Ambassadors Programme is the entry point for young learners (typically ages 8–10) to start their journey in STEAM innovation and creativity. At this stage, children take their first steps as Explorers, discovering how science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics come together to solve problems in fun, hands-on ways.
👩🚀 What Learners Do
- Participate in guided STEAM challenges designed for early discovery.
- Explore simple robotics, coding with visual tools, and creative projects.
- Work in small groups to collaborate, build, and share ideas.
- Learn how to observe, question, and test ideas through playful experiments.
🎯 Skills & Competences
- STEAM Basics: understanding simple scientific concepts, patterns, shapes, and measurements.
- Digital Literacy: safe use of apps and basic digital creation (aligned with DigComp 1.1 & 1.2).
- Teamwork & Creativity: learning to share, collaborate, and generate ideas with others.
- Entrepreneurial Spark: spotting opportunities and turning ideas into small projects (aligned with EntreComp basics).
🏆 Certification & Recognition
- Assessment is based on a challenge-based task completed with evaluator support.
- Learners receive the Level 1 – Explorer Certificate, accredited by the Cyprus Certification Company (CCC).
- This level builds confidence and sets the foundation for Level 2 – Maker, continuing the Ambassador Pathway.
✨ In Level 1, children are not just learning — they are becoming explorers of the future, taking their first step toward becoming innovators and problem-solvers.
