🌍 STEAM Ambassadors Programme

Level 5 – Ambassador

Innovation with impact.
At Level 5 – Ambassador, learners (typically ages 15+) demonstrate full mastery of STEAM skills. They work independently on high-level innovation projects that connect to industry, research, or community needs. Ambassadors act as role models and mentors, showcasing what it means to be a young innovator with global vision.

👩‍🚀 What Learners Do

  • Design and deliver independent projects with real-world or industry relevance.
  • Develop start-up prototypes, research contributions, or national-level campaigns.
  • Integrate advanced technologies such as AI, VR/AR, drones, and robotics for sustainability.
  • Build a professional e-portfolio documenting skills, reflections, and project outcomes.
  • Mentor younger STEAM Ambassadors, inspiring the next generation.

🎯 Skills & Competences

  • Innovation & Independence: developing original solutions with tangible social or industry impact.
  • STEAM Expertise: applying advanced science (sustainability, astrophysics, neuroscience), mathematics (modelling, analytics), and technology (AI, IoT, VR/AR).
  • Digital Leadership: advanced problem-solving, ethical use of AI, and global collaboration (DigComp 5.3).
  • Entrepreneurship & Vision: sustainability, long-term value creation, and entrepreneurial thinking (EntreComp mastery).

🏆 Certification & Recognition

  • Assessment is based on a portfolio review by external evaluators, focusing on originality, depth, and impact.
  • Graduates receive the Level 5 – Ambassador Certificate, accredited by the Cyprus Certification Company (CCC).
  • Ambassadors often go on to:
    • Launch start-ups incubated within STEMFREAK.
    • Compete — and win — at international competitions, Olympiads, and hackathons.
    • Enter university with advanced competences recognised at higher EQF levels.

✨ In Level 5, learners are no longer just students — they are innovators, leaders, and global ambassadors of change, proving that young people can create meaningful impact in science, society, and technology.
