⚙️ How the STEAM Ambassadors Programme and Micro-Credentials Work

The STEAM Ambassadors Programme has two interconnected dimensions:

  1. A general 5-Level Pathway that every learner follows.
  2. A flexible micro-credentialing system available at all levels.

🔹 The 5-Level Pathway

The general pathway provides the foundation for every learner, ensuring progression from first steps in curiosity to advanced innovation.

  • Level 1 – Explorer: curiosity, guided projects, teamwork.
  • Level 2 – Maker: creativity, prototyping, early coding and design.
  • Level 3 – Innovator: applying STEAM to real-world problems, building functional prototypes.
  • Level 4 – Creator/Leader: leading teams, integrating disciplines, designing complex projects.
  • Level 5 – Ambassador: independent innovation, global impact, mentorship of younger students.

Each level is externally validated by independent examiners, accredited by the Cyprus Certification Company (CCC), and aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). Learners receive a certificate that reflects both STEAM competences and 21st-century skills (collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, innovation).
